MyGolfSim publishes independent reviews of golf simulator equipment: launch monitors, enclosures, projectors, impact screens and hitting mats, plus buying guides for a home setup. I review real products sold on Amazon and write about what the evidence actually supports, rather than repeating manufacturer marketing copy.
Who it’s for
This site is for golfers building or upgrading a home simulator setup who want a clear-eyed read on what a piece of equipment actually does well and where it falls short, before spending several hundred to several thousand dollars on it.
How I research products
Product details, images and pricing on this site come directly from Amazon’s product data for each item. I supplement that with research into publicly available owner reviews, manufacturer specifications and community discussion to understand how a product performs in practice, not just what its listing claims.
Every factual claim in a published review is checked against that research before it goes live. Where the evidence is thin, conflicting or simply doesn’t exist, I say so directly instead of filling the gap with a confident-sounding guess. Some products I’ve researched are still going through that review process and don’t have a full write-up on the site yet.
How I present ratings and reviews
I do not publish star ratings, review counts or testimonials that I haven’t independently verified. Where a product’s real customer rating data isn’t available to me, I say “Not available” rather than inventing a number.
