A projector is the more immersive, more traditional simulator look, and the better fit for a dedicated room you can control the lighting in. A TV is the simpler, lower-maintenance choice, and often the better fit for a shared or multi-purpose space that can't stay dark on demand.

Software and the PC or device it runs on
